Red and gray with a bit of stiching make a stunning combination in these fan shaped earrings.
These enameled earrings started out as a hand cut piece of copper. I sifted Vitreous Enamel (pigmented powdered glass) onto the copper, heated with a torch or kiln to 1500 degrees farenheit until the glass melted and adhered to the copper. This process of sifting and firing on both sides of the copper is repeated in layers multiple times for coverage. The edges of the enameled piece are then polished to remove excess enamel and to highlight the copper edge.
Total length from the tip of the earwire to the base of earring is 2 1/4 inches.
Ear wires are are made of .935 argentium silver
